Ⅱ. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
◇ GENERAL.

WARNING Do not operate your new Power wheelchair for the first time without completely reading and understanding this user’s manual.
It is convenient for folding and transportation, this product is designed for persons who can not walk conveniently. ENDURE MEDICAL provides varieties of products to meet different consumers' need. Please note! Choosing the product as well as the product model is not only the user’s the responsibility but also his / her specialized nursing staff’s like doctor, clinical medical scientist and so on.
The user must learn to use this product under the guard of specialized training person. The person that receives the specialized training may be your family member or your specialized nursing staff. It aims at helping the user to carry on the daily activity.
There are some safety registers below, which are helpful to using the wheelchair.
Please do use the wheelchair to enhance your active lifestyle. With increased mobility, please observe a few rules to ensure safe operation of your wheelchair. So please…
1. Do not drive the wheelchair without reading this manual.
2. Do not exceed the Max. safe climbing angle (8º)
3. Do not use the joystick in an erratic manner when going up or down an incline.
4. Do not carry passengers or exceed the Max. weight limit (120kgs).
5. Do not turn off the joystick controller by switching the On/Off Button when moving at fast speed. This will may cause damage to the joystick controller. Or you will loose control of the wheelchair which is very dangerous.
6. Do not drive over deep and soft ground (soft dirt, loose gravel, deep grass).
7. Do not attempt to mount a curb with height more than 2 inches.
8. Do not mount or dismount the wheelchair unless the joystick controller is turned off.
9. Do not use wheelchair on the road except driving along the sidewalk on one side of the road.
10. Do not sit on the wheelchair when you are in a vehicle unless you are being transferred to a vehicle seat.
11. Always stop fully before changing forward or reverse direction.
12. Always engage a slow speed when going down gradients (move the joystick slowly towards center position to reduce the speed).
13. Always approach and climb over curbs at slow speed.
14. Always approach curbs and gradients at 90 degrees.
15. Always keep the feet on the leg rest while driving.
16. Always make sure the batteries are fully charged before setting out on a journey.
17. Always charge the wheelchair in a well ventilated area to prevent any possible risk.
18 Always reduce your speed when turning sharply.
19. Avoid turning suddenly on a slope or gradient.
20. Always keep your wheelchair properly maintained.
21. Always try to find a “dropped curb" or “curb cutout" whenever possible.
22. To brake in an emergency simply release the joystick.
23. Never try to use your wheelchair beyond its limitations as described in this manual.
