FORMULATION:
Each 5 mL contains:
Ibuprofen 100mg
Indications:
Ibuprofen is used in the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation in conditions such as dysmenorrhea, headache including migraine, postoperative pain, dental pain, musculoskeletal and joint disorders such as ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, peri-articular disorders such as bursitis and tenosynovitis, and soft-tissue disorders such as sprains and strains. It is also used to reduce fever.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For the treatment of pain or fever in children:
6 to 12 months: 50 mg 3 times daily
1 to 2 years: 50 mg 3 to 4 times daily
2 to 7 years: 100 mg 3 to 4 times daily
7 years and over: 200 mg 3 to 4 times daily, or as prescribed by the physician.
